Summary
The main purpose of this scientific work is to investigate the definition of Greenwashing, its aspects and its impact on consumers and businesses. To achieve this, over 30 scientific sources were reviewed and an opinion was formed on the given problem. The evolution of the term Greenwashing from its appearance in the 1980s to the present day was considered. The different types of Greenwashing practices used by companies were analyzed and conclusions about the future of the effect were made.
